Road Safety Practitioners are increasingly carrying out Risk Assessments in their daily work; these assessments can be generic within an activity, for example, cycle training, or specific to a location, for example, a walking bus route.
This course examines how to spot hazards, identify who is at risk and risk evaluation. Outlined are the importance of documentation and risk assessment policy.
This course intends to equip drivers with full knowledge of how to manage a
vehicle while on the road through the following competencies:
1. Use risk assessment techniques within road safety.
2. Develop an understanding of how risk assessments can encourage road safety activity within a controlled environment.
