Most accidents involving vehicles at workplaces occur due to poor vehicle guidance in parking lots. These cause costly damage to vehicles, equipment and premises and are preventable.

Traffic Marshals are operatives trained to direct vehicle movement on or around the
site. GLA offers training on who should be allowed on site, the safety of vehicle access,
hazard analysis and risk management for directing vehicles. The training also covers
identifying dangerous maneuvers and demonstrating the HSE code of hand signals
recommended by the HSE.
